Assignment 8
Tutorial and feedback
Now you’ve reached the end of project 8, schedule a feedback session with your personal tutor.
You will need to select a small number of works to discuss, as well as noting down a few questions to ask about your research and progress.
Submit your selected works and your questions via this assignment activity along with your feedback preference (video or written) and ensure you have communicated with your tutor to schedule a tutorial.

Virtual Exhibition (Draft)

A series of tondos encapsulate my profound connection with the world of aviation and the unique perspectives it offers. I draw inspiration from the intimate portholes of an aircraft cabin. Through a deliberate play of spatial dimensions, I have artfully captured the essence of lateral viewpoints that have become second nature to me. With a connection with the landscape using paint layering and application as a form of terrain, each piece blends traditional artistic expressions with digital interventions.
The digital world offers me a new way to showcase my work. With virtual exhibitions, I can travel globally from wherever I am, which is a big advantage. While I miss the physical touch of my artwork, I still remember its importance. I can choose to explore this aspect in a different direction. I believe the advantages are greater than the disadvantages. I feel positive about the size of my work, and how affordable it is for buyers, and I like the flexibility of using magnetic strips on the back of the 24cm diameter tondo pieces (mounted on foam board).
I have not detailed each work with dimension, support and title information as yet. This is a draft exhibition which I will discuss with my tutor.

Repaint.
After my tutor's feedback, I decided to repaint the Sculpted Whiteness digital tondo. I am unsure of its success. I am finding this piece difficult to discern. (Original source Image below).
I see the 'repaint' project as an ongoing creative endeavour where I use my body's automatic expressions to capture the spirit of my travels, landscapes, and memories. This allows me to transform these experiences into a visual story that keeps growing and evolving over time.
