Initially, I wanted to review my sketchbook work.
In part one, making responses to artists was a great inspiration for me at the start of the course. So, I need to make some responses to artists, to fire up my imagination again.

In Part two, using the influence of Andy Warhol had led to a good outcome from my sketchbook experiments and explorations.

The outcome was
Rendez-shoe/Globe Trotters.
A1 Gouache and watercolour on watercolour paper.

Looking at the work of David Hockney, and experimenting with the monotype process, had led me to a successful composition in part three.

The outcome.
TIME ZONES

'To Fly to Serve' 'Back to Back' 'Jetlagged'
3 x Monotypes with collage open acrylics, pencil, pastel and Artgraf (each piece 14.5 x 21 ins).
In Part Four, experiments and investigations open up narratives of interest.

What can I do with this information and reflection?
I feel that I need to experiment more in my sketchbook with the materials specified in the brief. Learn from the artists by making responses to them before I start the exercises. I am bursting with excitement to create the final part of the course.
