Assessment Criteria

The pandemic has created an entirely digital assessment again. This is a reminder that the skill set I have practised over the last module has included adaptability, patience and creative problem solving to reach my goal. The wide range of formats and digital resources has been diverse in this unpredictable world.

I am considering the following pieces for my assessment selection.

Choose 6 to 10 pieces of creative work.

Choose 8 to 12 entries from your learning log that reference your learning outcomes (2 or 3 entries per learning outcome). These might include examples from sketchbooks.

500-word essay on a specific painting medium.

Choose 6 to 10 pieces of creative work.

(Works chosen before Assignment Five feedback).

1.

Rendez-shoe - (Globe Trotters)

For the rendering of form, cast shadows, and palette work well together with a development plan from Andy Warhol (in my sketchbook) and having determination with instinct and reflection working towards the final piece. The shoes relate things to each other, which shows imagination and an openness to the brief.

2.

Vix in Pink and Green.

For its intriguing complexity and space to not overcomplicate the work.

Unfinished work allows a reduction in marks with less information.

3.

Trace Roid- Zombie Roid-Roid 1 in Mauve

For their confident compositions and resolution by the application of thicker paint over the orginal monoprint.

4.

Jetlag.

For it's resolution with the addition of fragile charcoal lines.

5.

Ja-red- blue-green-yellow.

For its striking composition.

6.

Time Zones.

For its concentrated, yet open, new way of handling paint using a printing technique. Artist influences are seen to be coming through with the idea of presenting flight as well as being grounded and reflecting on the experience.

7.

Adventitious Series

For their qualities of blending, cross hatching and burnishing with coloured pencils.

Possible entries from Part Five (before tutor feedback)

Pebbles on the step.

Hello weed.

The Road to Tobermory.

Aerial Perspective.

Travel.

Orchids 1

Hanging around

Choose 8 to 12 entries from your learning log that reference your learning outcomes (2 or 3 entries per learning outcome). These might include examples from sketchbooks.
